Is the Fleur de Loire Hotel worth it? Our review
We had such a magical stay at the Fleur de Loire Hotel that we put it in first place. of the best hotels in Blois! Beyond the impeccable service and excellent cuisine, we particularly appreciated the harmony of the establishment, with its discreet luxury from the entrance to the spacious, comfortable rooms. Last but not least, the hotel is perfectly located in Blois to take advantage of the city's treasures as well as its proximity to the other Chateaux of the Loire Valley.

Decoration and atmosphere
Entrusted to renowned interior designer Caroline Tissier, the design of the Hôtel Fleur de Loire in Blois is exquisitely tasteful. We were blown away by the harmony throughout all the spaces (common areas, restaurants, rooms).
The guideline? The voluptuous lines of the Loire winding through Blois. We also liked the idea of sandbanks, soft lighting and plants as recurring motifs in every room of the facility.
Every detail seems to have been carefully thought out to create this elegant, soothing atmosphere.

And the same attention to detail goes for the service! We liked the warm, efficient contact of the hotel staff, who were always available to meet guests' needs while remaining discreet to ensure perfect peace and quiet.
The room
Designed like a jewel box, our room was both comfortable and spacious, with understated yet refined decor. We particularly appreciated the noble materials, thick fabrics and powdery tones, giving the whole a soothing atmosphere. Wallpaper with a plant motif and various works of art (in paper or wood) added a touch of natural elegance, while the subdued lighting created a warm ambience.

Among the amenities in the room, we found a Smeg kettle, a coffee machine, room fragrance from the House next door and a welcome bottle of water. The room was a duplex, with a sitting area featuring a sofa, coffee table, TV and desk, and a bedroom area with a double bed, table and chairs, another TV and fleece carpeting. The lighting fixtures were sober and elegant, and a gilded brass mirror added a touch of sophistication to the room.
Note that you can opt for rooms with a terrace and/or a view of the Loire.

See availability on the Hôtel Fleur de Loire website.
The bathroom
In our room, the bathroom included a bathtub, where we could relax after a long day of sightseeing in Blois. The bathroom walls were sculpted like waves, giving an impression of movement and softness. We liked the gray and white color variations, bringing a soothing atmosphere to the room. A large double washbasin added a modern touch. And we were delighted with the natural cosmetics on offer!

The breakfast
Breakfast at the Hôtel Fleur de Loire in Blois is simply exceptional. You'll be blown away by the magnificent buffet featuring fresh produce (cheese, charcuterie and fruit platters) and homemade sweets. We also enjoyed local products such as smoked sturgeon, cheeses, homemade jams and honey from chef Christophe Hay's garden.

We were impressed by the variety of sweet treats awaiting us. We were dizzy with the wide choice of home-made pastries (various citrus or marble cakes, canelés, madeleines, crêpes), fruit salads, yoghurts in different flavors, not forgetting the pastries (chouquettes, raisin bread, croissants) and cereals. To make matters worse, everything is served in a luminous room with a breathtaking view over the town of Blois.

Equipment and common areas
There's nothing like a moment of relaxation after a busy day of sightseeing! The Hôtel Fleur de Loire features a Sisley spa, with a 450m2 wellness area with steam room and sauna, a "tisanerie" and 2 swimming pools.
You can enjoy a 15m-long swimming corridor and splash around in another outdoor relaxation pool.
We were tempted by the varied massage menu (including the Fleur de Loire massage with plant-based products) and also noticed the menu of other treatments (scrubs, manicure, make-up workshop).
You can also book a prestige cabin with private bath.

There's also a Champion Spirit gym, equipped with a range of machines (including treadmills, a rowing machine and a Padipata punching bag) and yoga accessories. You'll be able to work up a sweat while enjoying the beautiful light provided by the mirrors and bay windows.

Finally, you can relax in the hotel's lounge bar, equipped with sofas, a fireplace and a library.
Electric bikes and family scooters are also available for rides along the Loire River.

The restoration
While the setting of the Hôtel Fleur de Loire is exceptional, we were impressed by the quality of the cuisine offered by eco-responsible chef Christophe Hay. Most of the produce he sublimates comes from the establishment's permaculture vegetable garden.
You can choose between our two-star gourmet restaurant and the Amour Blanc restaurant, with its panoramic view over the town of Blois. In fact, we've included both of these restaurants in our "Coup de coeur" list of Blois restaurants!

You can also treat yourself to homemade sweets from the hotel's pastry kiosk, both boutique and tea room.
And let's not forget the elegant bar, featuring a fine menu of signature cocktails and a selection of rare wines and spirits to sip in a hushed atmosphere indoors or on the terrace outside.
