Nestled in the heart of old Angers, this restaurant won us over with its refined, committed cuisine. The couple who run this excellent restaurant honor local seasonal produce and delicate natural wines. Here, elegance meets eco-responsibility, resulting in two well-deserved stars! One is for the cuisine, the other is green, rewarding the alliance between gastronomy and sustainability.
As soon as we entered the restaurant, we fell under the spell of the decor. Nestled in a magnificent half-timbered house, this is a place of warmth and design. We appreciated the neat atmosphere and attentive service.
The menu is available in sparkling, 4, 6 or 9 times of gustatory discoveries! A veritable festival of flavors, the plates impressed us with their creativity. We tasted fish from the Loire, like this eel caught in the river, as well as fresh vegetables harvested just a few kilometers away. The dishes are artistically presented in a palette of colors. A feast for the eyes and the mouth!

We spent a unique moment in the cellars of this still-working windmill, now converted into a restaurant.
The restaurant's cuisine is bold and generous, with an emphasis on local produce. We plunged into the chef's contemporary world. The crisp, flowery vegetables and exquisite snacked scampi surprised our palates! The colorful plates, innovative layout and impeccable service transported us back to French gastronomy.

Right in the center of town, this bistronomic restaurant seduced us with its market cuisine. Our taste buds were delighted by the modern dishes on offer. We also appreciated the warm, friendly atmosphere of the room.
We enjoyed eating at this restaurant, which showcases the produce of the Anjou region and creates its menus according to the seasons. Autumn vegetables were in the spotlight when we dined there. We couldn't resist a tender, textured triad of sweet potatoes served with a pan-fried cod back! The camembert cromesquis also delighted our taste buds. Located just a few steps from the magnificent Château d'Angers, Crêperie du Château is one of the best in town! We love this address. The galettes and crêpes are delicious. There's something for everyone! We enjoyed the galette saucisse and a more original proposal with scallops. Ending our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed some delicious crêpes flambées with salted butter caramel. It's a great place to meet up with friends and family. The prices are reasonable and the plates full! The warm, comfortable setting, with its fireplace and antiques, also put us at ease.
