Nestled in the heart of old Angers, this restaurant won us over with its refined, committed cuisine. The couple who run this excellent restaurant honor local seasonal produce and delicate natural wines. Here, elegance meets eco-responsibility, resulting in two well-deserved stars! One is for the cuisine, the other is green, rewarding the alliance between gastronomy and sustainability.
The menu is available in sparkling, 4, 6 or 9 times of gustatory discoveries! A veritable festival of flavors, the plates impressed us with their creativity. We tasted fish from the Loire, like this eel caught in the river, as well as fresh vegetables harvested just a few kilometers away. The dishes are artistically presented in a palette of colors. A feast for the eyes and the mouth!

Just outside Angers, Restaurant L'Hoirie won us over with its culinary and pastry expertise. Local products are skilfully prepared and sublimated. Like us, you're in for a treat!
You can choose between à la carte dishes and the Terre Mer or Harmonie des Saveurs menus. We chose to sample the treasures of the ocean and the French countryside. After a poêlée of oyster mushrooms and a perfect egg, we tried a tasty back of haddock with pommes dauphines. Our lunch ended on a pleasantly sweet note, with a gourmet coffee accompanied by fruit pastry and homemade canelés.
The establishment also thinks of children and offers them a dedicated menu.

Next to a pretty river, Restaurant le Ros[O] won over our palate. Nature is in the décor, but also magnified on the plate. We had a delicious, fresh time!
We were tempted by one of the tasty starters. A light, sparkling start! Tender black angus beef and seasonal roasted vegetables then transported us. Last but not least, the dessert, which was chocolatey but fortunately not too sweet, made our mouths water!

A 15-minute drive from Angers, Domaine du Moulin Cavier is home to one of the finest hotels in the area, as well as a gourmet restaurant. Travel back in time through the majestic gates of this ancient mill. We were charmed by the rustic yet chic atmosphere of this historic venue, as much as by its culinary offerings. We spent a unique moment in the cellars of this still-working windmill, now converted into a restaurant.
The restaurant's cuisine is bold and generous, with an emphasis on local produce. We plunged into the chef's contemporary world. The crisp, flowery vegetables and exquisite snacked scampi surprised our palates! The colorful plates, innovative layout and impeccable service transported us back to French gastronomy.

The establishment was decorated by a famous Italian mosaicist, Isidore Odorico. Today, the restaurant pays homage not only by bearing this name, but also by showcasing its daring cuisine! We particularly enjoyed the fish, a hake from our coast and its risotto with shellfish jus. The chocolate dessert also delighted our taste buds!

Sunday brunch fans will find plenty to enjoy at Restaurant La Cour. We loved the generous, gourmet dishes served in this lively, friendly establishment.
You'll love the tempting dishes on the menu, such as the delicious homemade burger. Even the bread is made in-house! We really enjoyed ourselves. The desserts also piqued our interest, especially the tasty cheesecake. We also took advantage of the bar's creative range of cocktails and sipped our drinks in the pretty green courtyard.

The friendly Mamie Fada restaurant offers reassuringly trendy cuisine! We felt the craziness of the decor and the kitchen as we strolled through this large house transformed into a restaurant and perused the menu, small dishes cooked with love.

Right in the center of town, this bistronomic restaurant seduced us with its market cuisine. Our taste buds were delighted by the modern dishes on offer. We also appreciated the warm, friendly atmosphere of the room.
We enjoyed eating at this restaurant, which showcases the produce of the Anjou region and creates its menus according to the seasons. Autumn vegetables were in the spotlight when we dined there. We couldn't resist a tender, textured triad of sweet potatoes served with a pan-fried cod back! The camembert cromesquis also delighted our taste buds. A menu that will also appeal to vegetarians thanks to its dedicated menu.

Located just a few steps from the magnificent Château d'Angers, Crêperie du Château is one of the best in town! We love this address. The galettes and crêpes are delicious. There's something for everyone! We enjoyed the galette saucisse and a more original proposal with scallops. Ending our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed some delicious crêpes flambées with salted butter caramel. It's a great place to meet up with friends and family. The prices are reasonable and the plates full! The warm, comfortable setting, with its fireplace and antiques, also put us at ease.

Restaurant Les Petits Prés wowed us with its gourmet fusion cuisine that's also kid-friendly! Here you can enjoy a gastronomic experience for the whole family. We enjoyed the restaurant's unpretentious setting and the lively open kitchen.
We discovered some very fine local produce, magnified by both French and exotic influences. The young chef has tamed our palates with his simple yet sophisticated philosophy. Delicately presented, the à la carte and tasting menu dishes will captivate the eyes of the whole family. We were impressed by the bright colors, the little flowers used as condiments and the neatness of the dressings. The subtle flavours rounded off our tasting experience in style.
