For us, La Closerie des Laudieres is the ideal place to stay during a road-trip through the Loire Châteaux. Indeed, the guest house is ideally located between several châteaux, and its green setting away from the cities is an excellent option for those seeking peace and quiet after intense days of sightseeing.
With just two rooms, we loved the intimacy of the establishment and the warm welcome from Catherine, who is keen to share the nuggets of her region!

Decoration and atmosphere
The decor of Closerie des Laudières is both rustic and elegant, in keeping with the charm of the 15th-century farmhouse. Rooms are decorated with soft colors and natural materials to create a warm atmosphere.
Note also that your host, Catherine, also embodies the authenticity of the place.

HAVE FUN WITH THESE activities
The room
We opted for the Florentine room, located on the ground floor, and were won over by its warm ambience. Spread over 50 m², we liked the different spaces between the bedroom area on one side and the lounge area with sofa and fireplace on the other. The cathedral ceiling, wooden beams and various mirrors add to the spaciousness of the room, making you feel right at home.
We liked the original decorative touches, such as the elaborate wooden headboard and other elements like a candlestick and an oil lamp.
Note that in this room it's possible to sleep another person, as there's a single bed that doubles as a seat.

The bathroom
In our bedroom, the separate bathroom is smaller. Soberly decorated, it features a shower and toilet, and even though it's a guest house, soap is available.

The breakfast
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try out the breakfast during our stay, but we've heard great things about what Catherine, the host, has to offer. It offers a wide choice of sweet products (pastries, jams, toast) and a few homemade sweets. If you're lucky, you can even enjoy the sunny terrace on sunny days!
Equipment and common areas
In addition to the two bedrooms, guests have access to a communal lounge and a sunny garden terrace, ideal for strolling on sunny days. Sun loungers are available for your relaxation.

The guesthouse does not offer on-site catering.
