Decoration and atmosphere
Hôtel Saint-Pierre is a haven of peace hidden away in the heart of the old town. The decor, which borrows from no fashion, is quite unique. It was created in close collaboration with local interior designer Thierry Lassure, and showcases the skills of local craftsmen. We noticed that certain elements of the décor were highly original or made reference to the equestrian world.

The play of light and colorful furnishings contrasted with the subdued ambience of the rooms, creating harmonious contrasts. The friendly, comforting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The pleasant outdoor terrace, equipped with armchairs, tables and plant decorations, invites you to relax. Each room also has its own aesthetic, contributing to the atypical character of the establishment.

The room
Each of the 14 rooms is unique, with its own aesthetic. In ours, we appreciated the elegant furniture, the chandelier, the long velvet curtains, the subdued atmosphere and the delicate headboard. A desk area and a coffee and tea corner complete the room's facilities. The refined, intimate and cocooning decor encourages rest and relaxation.

We found the furnishings both functional and warm, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Saumur and the surrounding area. Attention to detail is evident in every element of the décor.

The bathroom
The bathroom walls are adorned with mosaics signed by great artists such as Paloma Picasso. We were impressed by this bold choice, which transforms every bathroom into an exceptional room. Rituals hygiene products are available, along with comfortable bathrobes.

A large washbasin topped by a rectangular mirror provides practical space. The bathtub, protected by long curtains, benefits from a skylight in the ceiling, providing pleasant natural light. The result is an atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

The breakfast
Breakfast combines table service and buffet. We appreciated the selection of organic and local products on offer. The range of beverages is of the highest quality, from roasted coffee to squeezed orange juice, as well as organic fruit juices. You'll also find jams, Breton butters and honey to accompany your sandwiches. The buffet features organic and gluten-free cereals, dried peanuts, fresh fruit, breads and pastries, farmhouse yoghurts and a selection of French cheeses. Charcuterie such as ham and sausage can be served on request. With this delicious breakfast, we started the day off on the right foot!

The outdoor terrace, equipped with armchairs and tables, is the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Weather permitting, enjoy this pleasant space, which reveals a different perspective on the building's architecture.

We particularly appreciated the lounge bar with a piano offering a wide selection of whiskies. It's a friendly place to meet at the end of the day. The cosy ambience of the lounge invites conversation or reading. We found these communal spaces welcoming and conducive to conversation, reinforcing the intimate character of the establishment.
